About

Like a Coyote, I’ve been wandering the deserts of Nevada, California and Arizona taking photographs of ghost towns and mining camps since I was a teenager.

The siren of the quiet of the long abandoned buildings and their hidden history of the search for riches, beginning on the surface but soon leading deep underground lead inevitably to a degree in Geology and Engineering.

I love the stories of those who risked it all for a better life and amassed knowledge, experience, and sometime unsurpassed wealth that built towns, trails, roads and ultimately railroads to get there.

Please join me on my quests and enjoy my photographs and stories of the history, geology and lore of these amazing places and the people that built them.
